The 4-H office is still accepting applications for the 4-H Urban-Rural Exchange to Grant, Klamath and Wallowa County. This program is open to any 6th, 7th and 8th graders.

Summit for Youth Leadership Towards a Sustainable Future

4-H Teen Leadership Committee Now Forming!
Activate your heads, hearts and hands for a healthy, sustainable Oregon. Lead the way toward a sustainable future for our communities, state and world. Help Oregon State University Extension Service build the Project 2010 Youth Summit for Sustainability for grades 7-12 at the World Forestry Center in Portland, Oregon during Earth Week, April 23rd and 24th.
Where and When: Our first leadership meeting will happen February 20th from Noon to 3:30 in downtown Portland (exact location to be announced). We will have another leadership meeting in March. The leadership team is also expected to attend at least one of the summit days on April 23rd or 24th.
What's happening at the February 20th meeting? You will network, socialize, plan and activate with other youth leaders and Oregon State University faculty to begin building an action plan for Project 2010. There are leadership positions available for 15 teens in 9-12th grade.
