Youth Empowered Action (YEA) Camp

Inspiring and Innovative Leadership Program for Social Changemakers Ages 11-16

Youth who care about making a difference in the world have a unique and exciting opportunity this summer! Youth Empowered Action (YEA) Camp is a fun and inspiring residential summer camp for caring 11-16 year olds. Set in a beautiful natural area, campers will explore the issues that they care about in a meaningful and supportive environment with inspiring, like-minded peers and amazing staff mentors. Working together, we'll come up with real ways for campers to get involved in or create school or community projects and have a big impact. YEA builds the knowledge, skills, confidence, and community for youth to leave camp proud and empowered to bring their passions to fruition in the world. YEA Campers will create lasting relationships and have fun with games, hikes, art, music and more! Our week long session is August 14-21 and costs $800 for the full program at gorgeous Camp Onahlee in Molalla, OR. YEA also has camps in Santa Cruz, CA. BandWorks School of Rock Summer Camp

For kids 8+, BandWorks Rock n' Roll Camp is open to young beginners through advanced, older teen players. Top professional musician-instructors create a fun and supportive environment while they teach kids the skills they need to play in a rock band-and make new friends in the process.

Our week-long Summer Day Camps offer a variety of classes throughout the summer. By the end of the week, students are rocking out in a live performance in the classroom. For kids with some musical experience, camps include Rock Jam and our popular "Music of" series, in which students focus on one featured band, such as Green Day, for the week, learning not only their songs, but the tricks that make them great. Campers may enroll for a 1/2 day or full day.
