Your SES library has had great success so far this year in providing basic services to our students by being open after school from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. and through the book cart for the K-2 classes.
If you're interested in volunteering at Sunnyside library, please contact Nikki Monacelli for orientation times: nikkimonacelli@yahoo.com or 503-730-3260. Needed are volunteers who, in addition to performing standard library tasks like shelving, tidying, and straightening; are available during the day when students are in class.
Thanks to Michael Kennett, library volunteer extraordinaire. He leads the Wednesday Library Book Cart for Abby's and Sally's class, so if you see him in the halls, please say hello to him and thank him for arranging this for our school!
Donations to the library are always welcome; however, we ask that you check with a library volunteer first prior to making/bringing in your donations.
Sunnyside book available
This beautiful coffee table book that was produced by the room 109 K class and sold at auction. A copy of the book is in the office and many people have asked if they could buy one. The books list for $54.95. Email jan@sonnenmair.com if you have questions.
